Super Nintendo

Super Mario World

This is one of the most iconic video games in history, which is why we have decided to do this as our first video game review.  I’ve been brushing up with some gameplay recently, and working on the review, which you should see on the site shortly, I hope.  This will be followed up with our first YouTube review.  My son has been playing as well, and has recorded some gameplay footage which we will use in the YouTube review.

Nintendo DS

Dragon Quest V

This is the game I’ve been playing the most of lately.  I passed the 20 hour mark this week, and I think I’m more than halfway done.  I’ve been writing my notes for an upcoming review, and also recording the occasional screen session while playing.

Sega Genesis

Sonic the Hedgehog

Every kid who grew up in the 80’s knows you had to pick a side – Nintendo or Sega.  I was also squarely on the Nintendo side, so I never actually owned a Sega system while growing up.  Which means I never really played Sonic the Hedgehog that much.  I’ve only recently acquired my first Sega console, a Sega Genesis.  I’ve been breaking it in by playing some Sonic the Hedgehog this week.  I’ve only been able to make it to level 2-3 so far, but my son can already get to world 6-3!  I need more practice.  A review of this will also be coming eventually.

PlayStation 3

Mega Man 9

Just started playing this recently, and this game is hard!  At least, it is to me.  I tried all the levels without successfully beating a single boss.  After several re-tries, I finally managed to beat one level, Galaxy Man.  I might play some more this week, if I feel like being frustrated.
